STMA Referee Training well attended

The soccer club hosted a referee training clinic on Sunday, March 31st where referees were able to work on their craft during live game action in preparation for the upcoming 2019 season.  Referee mentors, John Morstad & Steve Bot, were on hand to answer questions from referees as well as point out things to watch out for during games.   The clinic drew in both new and experienced referees and we hope that each gained some new knowledge leading into the season.

Thank you to all those in attendance at the clinic and we look forward to seeing you on the fields.  Please see the information below if you would like to become a referee for the upcoming season.

STMA Travel Coaches Clinics 2019

On Sunday March 31st, 2019 the travel soccer coaches where invited to the STMA Dome for some coaches education hosted by Roger Derham, STMA Director of Coaching.  The topics covered based upon feedback from the Annual Coaches meeting in the winter where shooting and finishing.

The session was well attended with some great dialog thrown into the mix.

This weekend the STMA Travel Coaches have additional opportunity to further their education as they are invited to attend the MNUFC 2019 Coaches Summit that is being hosted at the National Sports Center.   With the soccer clubs growing relationship with MNUFC this event is at no cost to the coaches.
